Is obvious that there are works set in the 80s and 90s even in the 70s or even works from the 1800 that are set in the future. BUT those were futuristic because it was saw from the perspective of the time they were written.
Jules verne's stories were futuristic for when they were written, mad max was futuristic for when it was made, Kurt Russell rescue movies were set in times that now are the past.
BUT, Metal Gear V is different, metal gear is set on the past even under the perspective of when the work was made, so it can really be considered futuristic?
