>>2402443I can think of a few reasons:
>Highlights the eyes, makes some expressions seem prettier or more unique >Adds some personality, maybe she's shy/a germaphobe/a doctor/wants to be anonymous/just wears it for the coolness factor/has some wound or scar there?>Adds a bit of mystery in general>Related to stuff like kunoichi and doctors, both of which are entire separate stories about appeal (mostly stuff like intimacy, being one on one with them etc.)>Muffles the speech slightly, making stuff like heavy breathing more noticeable>Just aesthetics, stuff like matching underwear + mask looks prettyPlus personally, I've always associated masks on women with some vague "princess from an unspecified faraway land" concept due to some shows and comics I've seen/read as a kid. Years later I found out they were supposed to be niqabs, but the idea carries on to surgical masks as well.
