>>2473659Well, there is not law prohibiting to simply show exposed anuses on non-R18 anime or video games or whatever, but if you will distribute and sell an anime or videogame as a comercial product, then you will need to get your product reviewed, rated and approved by an ethics industry committed like Eirin, CERO, etc, so they could easily ask you to remove exposed anuses if you do not want your product to be rejected or given a R18 rating.
Meanwhile manga or light novels do not get normally reviewed by an ethics industry committee, there is too much being made to do it, so each editor and publisher is responsible to regulate themselves, so a lot of them will not allow to show exposed anuses on non-R18 works, but some of them will allow it.
