Unlike a dog, the cat simply won't accept the leash, it will keep trying to wriggle out of it and, unlike a dog, it can always pull the head out of the hoop in the end. If it gives up, the cat will sit very still, and if the leash is pulled, it will always pull in the opposite direction. You can pull it on a leash like a plush toy, but you can never make it walk to follow the pull like a dog would. In fact, I'd love to see an ecchi drawing depicting a bunch of leashed nekomimi all acting like that.
