Fellow Anons, I apologize for intentionally posting an image on this thread that is NOT of the subject image, Princess Peach, but I feel this is of utmost importance. I wish to determine if:
1. This is this actually a rare Kalinka Cossack fanart from Mega Man 4.
2. This is Peach and the clothing is just a coincidence.
3. Peach doing a cosplay of Kalinka.
Evidence:
The way the bangs gather in a central clump and the blue eyes do seem to indicate Princess Peach, versus green eyes and parted bangs, but everything else about the outfit is consistent with Capcom's Mega Man character Kalinka.
I remain uncertain if this is a subtle crossover or if the artist simply failed to grasp the inaccuracies of their depiction.
I only bring this up because I would be mortified if anyone's meticulously organized folders miscategorized this as my waifu Princess Peach when the drawing is in fact NOT Princess Peach and is owned by an entirely different parent company.
As for me, my current theory is #3, the cosplay explanation, so I will tentatively be categorizing this under /games/nintendo/mario/female/princess peach/crossover/capcom
