Gotta quick tomboy story
>be 19 in college
>walking to school in late October
>some girl on a bike stops me and asks if I can fix her chain
>annoyed but do it anyway
>"thanks man, you're a lifesaver"
>she runs her bikes and hops on and as soon as she pedals it snaps off again
>"aw shit"
>bad luck right there, girl
>forced to walk and talk while feigning interest
>tells me if I wanna try to fix it after school
>yeah ok
>slog through day, forget about what I said
>school gets out and I start for home
>see girl out of corner of my eye messing with her bike
>oh right I was s'posed to help that girl
>walk over and say hey
>"oh hey dude, I borrowed a wrench from the shop class guys, do you think you can tighten this piece here"
>gear that pulls chain is super loose but I tighten it as best I could
>that probably won't last so you might have to walk home
>"watch my bike please, i'mma go return the wrench"
>yeah ok, I sarcastically think to myself
>check out the sticker on the bike
>sf 49ers fan
>"thanks bro, see ya next time"
>a few days go by before I see her again
>run into her on my way to lunch at a McDonald's
>"oh hey whattup"
>shit, fake courtesy
>eat burgers and chat a little, bring up the 49ers sticker
>"oh yeah, my dad's a fan so I ended up one too"
>get ready to leave
>"hold up, you wanna ride back to school?"
>uh sure
>ride standing on her bike's back pegs like a kid
>end up becoming friends over time
>date her in my second year
>find out she's a stereotypical tomboy
>likes football, basketball, vidya, playing drums etc
>also wants to be a surfer because California
>5 years later (just hit 5th year this October) still together
