Went in that one before but didn't stay long, there's like 4 people tops that still post Kisekae content there, the rest all either use it as a social server or use it for Koikatsu and shit. I don't even think the owner does Kisekae...

Summary:

Something I want this game to update is the ability to import an image to a clothing set. I mean like a bra, or shorts. We can edit images to add patterns, but when you put it back into the game you have to play with hand positions if you want to go under them. There is no way to deal with hair though.

There are tons of things that could be improved, like adding face markings that would apply to the rest of the body, have the hair accessories overlap with the face markings as there are useful assets in both categories that just get unused because of their limitations, more poses, etc.

I’m brand new to Kisekae, and I see there’s helpful links in the OP that I’ll read up, but is there a character or outfit download gallery or booru like there are for Illusion games (honey select/koikatsu)?

Only started getting into it because of a game that uses Kisekae characters for it’s sprites/art/characters, and I wanted to see what constraints the dev works with and learn how they work on such things.
(Are there any other generals in other boards related to Kisekae that I could use to find information or is it all in /e/?)

The hat clipping issues could easily be fixed by adding a bring to front type option like the pants/skirt have. I know this is a dead game, but this would be easy for the dev to fix.

Probably fizzled out again, I was the one saying "reply to this comment if you want a new discord server made" or something like that and got like 2 replies iirc so I can't be assed, especially when I don't even do Kisekae stuff much anymore.

Community is too small and attracts too many drama queens/kings to be worth trying to make a full fledged public Kisekae server at this point. Make one yourselves or hope that one of the 3 really closed off / mediocre servers gets new ownership.

Anyone knows how to fix this bug?
Basically when I click on "random" in the facial expression tab, it no longer has any effect on the mouth and eyebrows. It only changes eyes open-ness and pupils.
I have no idea why it's like that, it appeared suddenly and doesn't go back to normal even after closing and launching again.

The biggest problem I have with making characters is noses. The default ones don't look very good, but when I try to do something more detailed it ends up looking worse. Noses are hard.

Ohh wow, thanks!! I tweaked yours a little bit, and this is what I came up with. I decided that I wanted both nostrils, and I removed the lower thicker nose line. I couldn't get it to fit her face quite right.

Use a firewall to block its internet access. Unless you're using urls to import images for some reason there's no reason for Kisekae to be connected to the internet anyway.

I have been testing out using hair pieces for pubic hair because the default options in this game look terrible. Making hair pieces look decent is possible, but then they move when you move the models head. All 4 different hair layers don't cooperate with keeping still. I wish the developer would make a 5th option to link it to the body so they don't move when I rotate a characters head, but kisekae has not gotten a meaningful update in years.

Luckily, image imports _can_ be linked to the torso. Make pubes you're satisfied with, using hair pieces or by any other means (pic related: Reimu from spnati.net); then export as an image and reimport.
