>>2702535Great. I have a question for you. I've decided to re-read and improve on the entire story of Night Lotus, start to finish, since I'm going to add all those nametags. The changes could be a little drastic, and if possible, I would like to run them by you before I make anything that could upset readers. I was thinking:
-De-capitalizing a few things, but not all of them. The five specializations, Decathro, Magical Girl and Emot are still with capitalization, for now.
-Changing almost every instance of uniform to 'costume'. I believe you had already suggested this, or I might be misremembering. Either way, it fits much better. This is going to be the biggest change, as far as word-count goes.
-Changing the term and 'untransformed', since it's been bothering that Magical Girls would have probably coined a few terms on their own already. Transformation is a callback to the original 'henshin' that the Japanese use, but, it comes with the implication of having to use 'untransformed'; it sounds off, and awkward. I've been thinking:
Magical Girl lingo:
From regular girl to Decathro > Mutate.
From Decathro to regular girl > Soothe, cure.
From Regular Girl to MG > Transform (the original henshin), suit-up, or Magicalize.
From MG to regular girl > switch back, fade back, disrobe.
A MG in her regular girl form > civilian clothes, denuded, undraped (it's funny because it means naked).
Decathro lingo:
From regular girl to Decathro > Transform or transmogrify.
rom Decathro to regular girl > humanize.
I was going to use 'morph' but it might be bad timing, with the meme from the Morbius movie and all. If you are going to make a suggestion, or want anything else changed, it would be a good time around now.
Also, release of next chapter will sadly be a while away; a few weeks at the least.
