>>2723180>>2723252Can confirm there are nipples in the storyboards. Although I also noticed she is also depicted fully naked, however no effort has been put into drawing her vagina. So it's hard to really know what the intentions were for this scene. Most likely yes they were going to try and get away with ONLY showing Asuka's breasts but I guess it didn't make sense in the context of the scene due to it being a full frontal view of Asuka (towel or no towel).
Although I suppose they couldve always covered her vagina with a prop; can, mug or toothpicks (just like in the scene where misato sees shinji naked). Or have had her only wearing the towel around her waist, but I think that would have broken the illusion Anno set for us of her being an effeminate/feminine female deep down.
Also the storyboards for the decontamination scene show both Rei and Asuka with their breasts revealed.
