>>2779430Here comes the projection, I have no qualms about communicating or interacting with people on a daily basis, but I think you have to respect the fact not everyone wants to be in a Discord server full of degenerates talking about god knows what and interacting with them in a non-anonymous discussion format. It's why 4chan got popular in the internet discussion sphere in the first place, but you probably wouldn't know that.
Sure, I could make a one-off Discord account but still my main qualm is that there is no true anonymity which actively stifles discussion over time, and every Discord I've had to step in has always had the same circlejerkers wasting their life away everyday talking about inane things. It's just not a good format for discussion unless actively moderated, which then turns into its own myriad of issues if not done properly.
But yeah sure, label me a beta or whatever ad hominem you want to throw at me. I'm content with paying for the content as it is now and not having to directly associate myself with other losers consuming what's almost the peak of degenerate content (I mean, come on let's be honest here) in a non-anonymous server.
I merely replied originally because the other anon said the thread was dead, which doesn't have to be the case if people promoted discussion on both platforms instead of funneling everyone into the Discord and leaving the thread to die. I don't mind the Discord server itself existing, but the thread has seen better days. But well, if it dies I guess it's just one thread I don't have to visit periodically anymore.
