>>2826729Well if you want to take the artbook as canon then MH is a post-apocalypse. Humanity fought a war with the elder dragons that ended with both sides being almost extinct. There’s concept art for a frankenstein-esque dragon weapon that humans made from other dragon corpses. Personally I take this to be canon because I think it’s cool as fuck to be a descendant of a dragon slayer who took super steroids like Captain America.
