Did somebody ask for designs for the Sci Fi Mutants?
Here we have the main three mutant characters. Robert the blind bounty hunter already got his design last thread, but I chose to draw it again so he could be with the other characters, and in proportions closer to the show so you could see how the costume would sort of look. I also made a copy of what his jetpack looks like since you cant really see it from the front.
>Sid the mutant scientist
Once a scientist working for the space empire, he was instructed to be working on a potentially galaxy changing experiment. But their ambitions only lead to the experiment being a disaster, causing all life on the planet to be mutated. The empire then brushed the project under the rug, and abandoned the mutant planet. Now Sid's character lives in shame and isolation of what he did. Half of his body was mutated into being this horrible fish monster (he is wearing half of an old swamp monster costume) that can have a mind of its own and is hard for him to control. So he created mechanical enhancements to allow him to control what he does. On his back is a handy robotic arm (a programmable robot arm he made for a school science project) that allows him to continue his own experimentation in private.
>Mutant Cult leader Rule (Crippler)
Used to be an empire officer stationed on the planet to oversee the experiment. After the disaster, the mutation caused him to go insane, and now leads a mutant cult sect that believes in spreading the mutation to the whole galaxy and establishing a new mutant empire. He has a large mutant claw arm (fake one built over his crutch) and a gun that can cause temporary mutations in people (his grandfather's old pistol he found in the attic with some sci fi stuff stuck onto it). He is the main antagonist of the mutant planet arc.
