Back then when I did frequent /i/, drawing with a mouse forced me to change style and technique - usually (on paper) I draw lines with corrective motions (not a straight line yet? Draw another one over it), but with a mouse I went for definite strokes followed by fixes (thinning out lines or rounding up stuff, etc). Then there's the feeling of making a wrong choice about the tablet's size... Oh well
