i almost lost all capacity to be an artist back in my teens
i took a major hand injury after falling over glass bottle
had 20 total stitches and still have a scar running along the base of my wrist
i was told that i was very fortunate that i didnt sever any majornerves/muscles despite cutting to the bone
took me 3 months to make a full recovery which prompted me to learn lefthanded writing
either way now i have an extra crease on my palm where there ought to not be one
i like to imagine that out there in an alternate timeline there is a kottman drawing with his left hand cursing fate
