>>711636Well, someone suggested we flesh out the actual "Setting" of the LARP, and now we have a map to work with I decided to put this together, as like a proof of concept. Here is the general idea of the factions and how they play against each other.
The "Free Folk", humans and dwarves and shit. Their base would either be at Jerry's house (pictured) or maybe even Posie's house. They represent the last bastion of freedom against their rival faction
The Demon faction of the dread zone, lead by the Dragon King who I am thinking will be Max. They live in the dump and have a cool fort made of old boxes and junk.
Then there is the fairy kingdom, which is also against the Dragon king. They live across the river in their magical forest, Cindy's tree fort is their base. This is where all the elves and magical people live.
There is also some other stuff, like Melville being a wizard and his fancy house is is wizard tower, or maybe even a wizard school.
In terms of what the factions are fighting over this is my initial idea, something similar to the stick of truth in terms of significance and power but distinct for this story. Something that kids could have, like say a scrapbook. This scrapbook, which is treated like some magical grimoire or holy tome is a collection of all the laws of their fantasy universe. Anything added to it becomes law, and anything torn out of it isn't law anymore. For example, currently their is a law that demons can't be on the other side of the magic river, which protects the fairy kingdom from invasion from the Dragon King. However, the book has gone missing, and a bunch of its pages have been found around town. Now it is up to our heroes to find all the missing pages, discover who stole the book and repair it before the demon king gets his hands on it. Or, will our heroes decide to destroy the book so no one has that power any more?
Also as a side note, the names of locations on the map are liable to change
