i feel way more confident about my monochrome works, my renders in color always seem a little off (at least any that aren't purposefully stylized with weird colors). nonetheless, i will keep practicing and trying out new techniques or new approaches to color until i get better at it - each unsure result is a stepping stone towards what i actually want
maybe i'll try underpainting again next time
