>>716100I'm a pretty big Mutefag, so I'm gonna ramble on why I like her.
Mute, to me, is the quirky autistic girl in the back of the class who's mission is to make every interaction as awkward as possible. She doesn't talk, but that doesn't mean she can't interact in other ways, Actions speak louder than words. She's prone to violence, so that gives her a mean streak and can serve as punishment for whoever does or doesn't deserve it. (Melville and Neil) Mute would rather be left alone to her own devices, hell, if she ever got a starring role, she'd spend the entire episode trying to avoid being involved in an adventure. Her growing annoyance of the fact that the world is forcing her to become involved in it's shenanigans helps bring out her more abrasive and violent tendencies. This is why Neil is a perfect counter for her, as he'll never stop trying to insert himself in her business just for a laugh. Melville too, but that's more pathetic and tryhard. Cindy, on the other hand, helps show Mute's more caring and sweet side. She'll show up to events if Cindy's there, maybe even try to break out of her bubble if it means helping her best friend. Mute, under all that cold and callous nature, is just a small girl scared of interacting with the world at large because it stresses her out and she just wants to chill in the background. If I could write better, I'd give her more chill moments of being her true self.
