I think that this puts "improvement" on an objective, or commercial scale, which I am not trying to push. "Improvement" is just expansion. I mean, if you want to stay in place, if you like being an ignorant sort of person, peter pan syndrome etc, you do you I guess. But it takes the life out of art. It's no longer a flourishing thing, it's just a noun, a thing.

Are you actually being enriched or is it just something to pass the time, the equivalent of endless scrolling because there's so little effort or thought that it really is just muscle memory and giving yourself mediocre eye candy.
I used to feel some sort of envy when I glanced at this stuff because you can just Tell the artists here Like their drawings. But that's it, they like their Things, I don't think they care about the process, art itself.

I also have no place to talk about art because I feel completely isolated from /ic/ and /i/ is so low stakes, but this gen stands out, and it's always just really disappointing to see.
