lori didn't exist until after the orb was broken then reformed back into the orb then lon gave her the option to reincarnate into a person (instead of being imprisoned in the orb because when she came out of the orb she trapped him Danny and wendy in it and they didn't like it too much) which became Lori Thompson the whole town outside of Lon ( and ma and pa Thompson) believes she is Lon's great granddaughter and Danny's, Dani's and Wendy's cousin they basically did the same thing what they did to Dani so nobody asked questions
So before those episodes she didn't exist and then after those episodes she is now exist and everyone genuinely remembers her being around
Also the orb is still around it just lacks a personality now
