Preparations for the ceremony
Members of the Children of Fas would gather up the fruits of their labor from a set time period (usually about a week or two) to show that they were worthy of contact with Fate. These items, usually jewelry, money or food, were then offered to the altar before a celebratory prayer and song to thank Fate for providing them a vessel to praise, closer than any other human could ever achieve.
