i have 2 different types of arthropoids - arthropoids who have an arthropod centaur type body as a permanent feature (e.g. Nea and Archie), and arthropoids who have that centaur-ish form as something to transform into under certaint circumstances but can otherwise have a more humanoid body (e.g. Florence). it's purely for fun reasons rather than any particular lore
