I think Ashely confuses liking Melville as a brother for liking Melville's stuff. She doesn't like Melville's self imposes mandates whenever she visits, but Sebastian makes visiting worth it as he buys her stuff.
She tolerates Lydia for being a cool older sister, but doesn't dare interact more than verbal adoration. She likes climbing inside Linus's room through his window though.
Ashley forgets Addison is there half of the time, not even her house seems interesting enough.
