i resolved to buying a newer stylus and dissected this one apart outta frustration
and well what do you know motherfucker works just fine
dare i say better than before
my synopsis is that the plastic part at the back has like some wierd protrusions on the inside of it that props two segments on the main body apart from each other
it was originally glued on but given how worn out mine was it all gunked up on one side and had to be scraped out
the only moving pparts giving me trouble now are the fucking buttons
its clearly broken on the inside cuz if i press the left or right click buttons on the stylus itself it pushes something out of place and fucks up touch sensitivity
