>>725150>but truth is i always loved his first designIt just bugged me too much. The black cape was too similar to two other costumes, his fantasy and horror ones that it just felt repetitive and not unique enough. The mask felt too detailed and looked more like a fly face than a rat face, a theme which as I expressed earlier I wasn't a super big fan of. And when I tried changing it to look more rat-like he just turned out a shittier version of the Coon which I hated. So I don't really want to go back to it.
The second one was more just playing into the fact he's making a functional costume out of trash but had no theme. So I wasn't satisfied with it either but I felt I just needed to get a design out as I wanted to draw all the costumes together.
>this one feels a bit too cluttered and uniform, like everything is kinda the same textureIts hard to draw different textures when I am working with solid colours, unless I want to take the time to add little dots and lines to everything. I am working with the assumption that each patch is made out of varying materials, and this would be more obvious in the paper cut out style if it was the actual show.
>mayebe instead of little scattered patches, large parts of his clothes could be made out of a Frankenstein esque patchwork?Do you mean something like this?
