Narratively speaking, I'd say Zachary is stronger as he represents the boss of the 6th grade bullies. He is an obstacle for our main characters while Yashu is probably closer to being an ally depending on if they piss him off or not. And the antagonists tend to be more of a threat than the supporting cast otherwise there's no conflict.
So final answer is Yashu would be stronger and a better fighter but if he was just fighting him alone Zachary would win using underhanded tactics because he's a bastard.
