I like to think that since Sylvanus is more science focused and dedicated to their experiments, Ryhonus has most of the armoury to himself. And despite being the more irresponsible one, he is actually real handy with a raygun since he plays around with it a lot. A real trickshotter.
Gives him a fun rivalry with fellow (half) alien Robert as gunmen. And their personalities being opposites (Robert is more responsible but inactive while Ryhonus is irresponsible but more active on his whims) gives them a cool dynamic as rivals.
