A strange fish that feeds on the "sight" of those that look at it. Areas overpopulated with Neelueron often end up with them destroying the ecosystem before cannibalizing themselves out of existence.
These creatures live on the bottom of saltwater lakes, normally far away from human contact. However in one particular lake, diving tourism has skyrocketed. Correlated to this are many cases of divers reporting the worst headaches they've ever had and almost dying before miraculously recovering. After recovery, most divers approach the bottom of the lake without their gear and are never seen again.
