Simple didn't deserve that end indeed.
Allow me to give some of my observations of this thread. [redacted] info is some of the ideas that will be recycled in the future.
All of the core defense d6 roll against the goblin was 1 or 2. The overall d6 roll from the goblin was too good. The critical at the end was the nail in the coffin…
Dagger is one of my favorite melee weapons. The "Skill Tree" is revolving around SubWeapon/Critical/Reaction/Opportunistic acts. I was somehow worried of Simple getting too strong (because of my bias).
In the initial area, inside the basement there was an aquatic monster with high agility, but it could be shutdown with a well placed attack (only 5 hp). I was believing in this monster for being the reason for triggering Premonition for the first time.
The loot of the basement would be additional notes, specifically about [redacted]. There was a book (content would be defined through post digits), investing some time (food and water) Simple could learn new skills.
「Olpaex Egg」 has the same origin as the strange organic mass. The old diary is not updated. Not only is dangerous, but forbidden to harvest, due to the necessity to sacrifice some… living things. The "hole" to find it would be in the northwest or southeast square(50%) from the old diary.
