how do you find time to study and make gains while working/etc?
i'm 24, got a desk job in january working nights and while the afternoons can be busy i usually get 2-3 hours of nothing but downtime. cell phones aren't allowed to i have to entertain myself with drawing or bring a paperback. my schedule is basically
>get up at 9, make food, do studying for a (non desk job related) occupation, take care of errands like get groceries or gas
>work from 12 to 9pm, with an hour lunch in between
>exercise, eat, go to sleep
sorry for the blogpost, i just think you guys would be more helpful than ic or other boards. i've been watching steve hudson's videos for ~20 minute increments starting from a few days ago. it's been helpful but fuck i wish i could sit down and watch one in a single sitting without messing up my schedule. i love portraits by charles turner, lawrence alma, thomas sully.. picrel is what i did today - still having trouble with drawing straight on and not at an angle, i tend to slouch a lot while at work
