The worm mother is having contractions.
Moe worms have notoriously painful births, often feeling like a stabbing pain from the front to back that can last for hours. Most worm fathers are unfaithful, and therefore worm mothers give birth alone and cope with the pain alone.
But not this worm father.
This worm father stands by his queen every step of the way as she births his offspring into the world, his sextuplet worm babies, only three of which will survive. He loves his queen, and she loves her king.
God dammit, oh god dammit. Worms have such a pure love. Worms have such a beautiful, genuine, pure love!
