abstain from color picking references. it's the tracing of color and the reasoning behind not doing so is to develop a valuable skill of color deduction. by making yourself search for the shade of blue you want instead of just grabbing it outright, you learn the why and how of that blue. does that make sense? i'll take you awhile at first, but you'll get faster and faster before you know it.
