For single occupancy it was alright, there are deluxe cabins that have more space and their own toilet, but those are expensive. My experience was that the springs in the matress were done. I managed to place my ass on the side parts of the matress as side sleeper.
I will take the new nightjet back to Vorarlberg, I already took that one in sleeper and pod cabins. Being able to sleep in direction of travel and having your own toilet is pretty nice.
If you want to experience a double decker sleeper train with enough space, then go to Finland. To this day it was the best sleep I've ever had on a train.
