I don't get the obsession people have with bike safety. Unless you're shit at it or the roads are genuinely awful, you can easily bike without even using your hands. All it takes is not using a shitty mountainbike.
Also as an unrelated fun fact, my bike has had basically all of its parts replaced so often that I am genuinely convinced it has become the real-life ship of Theseus.
