Fixies are fun and engaging. I have many really good bikes but I always return to the bodged up Chinese fixie because it’s just really fun and convenient. Not everyone is riding fixies to pretend to bea black New Yorker in the 90s or a white Portlander in 2004. The need for people in general to comment on things they aren’t involved in and don’t care about baffles me.

Fixies are all about maximum leg day. All the energy you're dumping into heat with brakes, you could've put it towards more exercise for your legs. But that doesn't mean you should compromise on safety.

I finally got my photo to upload after messing with Google Chrome which failed. Then it let me post on Google Chrome incognito but wouldn't let me post in incognito with an image.

Now after 30 minutes I am finally able to post an image by going off wifi and using my mobile data.

Why is 4chan absolutely unusable? I used to post on 4chan for years and years and now it doesn't fking work at all it's insane

The captchas are extremely glitchy and tell me I failed when I didn't. My wi-fi has my IP banned. What the fuck guys. I'm only able to communicate with insane tranny redditors because reddit actually works

no I think that's in range as a very fair price. there aren't a lot of those split top-tube mixties and that one has cool paint, cool decals, cool lugs. it deserves a real effort at rust prevention but I would be a little bit hesitant to start swapping parts out, we're getting to the point where an interesting old steel bike might be better kept in original condition.

Alright score! The tires, tubes, brake pads, grips, chain and cables are all new. The rest of the components are original.

Maybe I'll try and keep the frame wiped down with an oily rag often to hopefully keep the rust from getting worse
