>>2064607I can only speak to Shimano since that's what I ride most, and I can only speak to the Northeast US climate since that's where I ride most, but minus 5 centigrade is no problem, I don't know about minus 5 fahrenheit, that might be an issue, I don't ride when it's that cold. You shouldn't need to bleed or refill unless there's damage. SRAM uses some kind of exotic automotive fluid that kills you if you look at it funny so maybe that stuff is more finicky. I know the braking works just as well on SRAM because I've used them on some very fast descents. But I have no long term feedback on SRAM.
