>>1249074This is lightly more sane. Though one wonders if you could hybridize some of the design aspects of a Garratt and Bullied's Leader. Have a deep firebox and the coal bunker hang in the middle, and have the boiler and a water tank/freedwater heater/condenser on top of the drivers. Could be a bogie style, could be more mallet like, but the point would be to put the highest variable weight in the center, and fixed weight over the drivers.
