Eh, I think their current proposed schedule (10PM-8:30AM) might be a bit too late. An 8 or 9PM departure would be better, would allow for dinner service and an earlier arrival (around 7AM) so people working 9-5 jobs could actually use it as an efficient means of commuting.

Also make the food actually good and not the dogshit Amtrak serves, that way it encourages repeat customers.

I gotta ask, are the Chinks (or anyone else for that matter) ever gonna build a monorail that's anything other than a glorified overpriced subway train?

I always thought that monorails that run very long distances (200+ miles, a trip that could still take several hours) would justify creating a dining service or at the very least a bar/lounge car catering to the wealthy/tourists.

What's the food like on board?

I've only ever ridden dinner trains and Amtrak so my experience on this limited

What will Brightline have in terms of services (classes, specialized seating, dining service etc.)?

While I'm not expecting Orient-express tier restaurant service, it would nice to go bar hopping like I do every long-distance passenger train I ride (seriously, I've had beer on the Eurostar, Sierra Dinner Train, and more Amtrak trains I can count).
