>>1846559The SAF lock weighs 13lbs. You are not carrying that everywhere you go, the Hiplock D1000 is ~4lbs and also angle grinder resistant. It's always "out of stock" unfortunately. Worrying about angle grinder attacks isn't really worth it unless your bike is worth thousands (and you shouldn't be leaving it unattended if it is). Nobody is going to waste time angle grinding a 5/10 bike.
If we're talking about professional bike thieves, they'll just cut whatever your bike is attached to, leave the lock on the bike, and throw the bike into a van so they can remove the lock somewhere else and take their sweet time. You want to stop low level thieves / crackheads, pros are going to do whatever they want and attack anyone who tries to stop them with their powertools.
Has anyone tried pic related? I consider it but went with a hiplock dxf / hiplock dxc because they were cheaper / still secure.
