how do you remove the piss stain looking discoloration? from my experience with tools, you can't simply clean it off with soap, isopropyl etc. i don't need a new cog asap but i'm curious about 3/32" track cog alternatives to my phil wood in case there's continued availability issues in the future. the surly looks interesting because of the drillium, it's not too expensive and some people say it makes for a quiet drivetrain although some says it's noisy as fuck so it seems a bit random. surly says it's SCM415 chromoly steel, heat-treated and chrome-plated.
