>>1966168What's more surprising is that there's anyone stupid enough to think Wichita would even have anything worth calling an "old town" given that it was founded a mere 155 years ago as a trading outpost. It's not like "Old Town Kraków," centered around 1,000 year old cathedrals and palaces of old Polish Kings. Venice similarly has palaces and was the center of a republic for centuries.
There were universities founded in Wichita fairly early on and the most notable building is well-preserved, though, it's merely 135 years old.
