They will be a mixture of EMU's and Electric Locos, they will still be using Diesel as well on lines that can't be electrified beyond a certain point (i.e. the Kitchener Line beyond Brampton). However anything beyond that is unknown as Metrolinx will leave it up to the consortium they choose to decide the vehicle type. Most promotional material shows the Stadler KISS as the train to be used (likely the CalTrain version).
