this was three days ago and I'm still mad at myself for having such a fucking chump-tier brainfart. weirdly the fork seems perfectly fine now, tracks straight and all, no bent steerer as far as I can tell. I guess hitting the bollard perfectly square saved it because the frame got in the way of the wheel and fork's progress backwards. still gonna yank the fork and check it of course
