Sorry. I'm not used to posts getting replies or I would have checked back earlier.
Thanks for all the helpful replies. I'm kind of taken aback by it. Really appreciated.

Such as...? I do get compliments on it, people checking it out. I'm not into the culture tho, but I could use a cheap hobby.

Yes, I ordered non-threaded.
I was told to lube the brake cable that's held inside the housing on the top of the frame? I'm not sure what the housing is called. Maybe it's called housing. That would make sense. Definitely not for chain lubrication, thanks.
I've been using kevlar lined(?) tires for about 10 years now and swear by it. I'm terrible about keeping my tires properly inflated and ride through broken-glass alleys too often.

I found a useful video to tell the difference between freewheel and cassette.
But the cassette and chain is going to be on the back-burner for a little bit. Pretty sure it's a cassette because that's what the bike shop always said, but.. Pic kinda related.

For sure. My bike is kind of old, and modern full fenders don't fit on it without after-market clamps. This is something I would take to a shop and buy and have them install. Soon. I'm on the west coast and it's about to get really wet.
I don't find that it helps keep grime off of my bike though. Just keeps it off of me.
