Can't say if that price is good, but I think I could get the same specs from the flat bar version and not go over the cost of the real thing.

By the way, the last drop bar issue (everything else was the same, except for deore in the rear) got sold for 1050€, meaning that as long as I don't spend more than 300€ on the conversion, I should be good. That doable?
