The more aggressive stance a drop bar needs where you go 45°or less down close to horizontal makes the B17 and its variants dig into your parts and limit you while you are pushed out of your position. The B17 is also too wide for that kind of riding.

Had a similar one to yours on my older fitness bike (flat bar road bike on fucked up BSO frame) from Selle Italia, S5 Superflow IIRC, turned out all that gel padding made a very uncomfortable ride plus in cold weather it froze my ass off. Avoid anything with any amount of gel padding, regular dense foam padding is much better.
