I don't understand what you people meant by just go faster and it'll balance.
It's kinda like when people say in pool to 'just hit the ball with the stick'. Obviously if you don't hold it probably and focus on how your arms move and how stiff everything is you won't hit it properly.
I had the same problem with the initial push on the bike.
I'd push but it'd be slightly angled so when I pedalled I was just falling down immediately.
I had to really focus on pushing forwards dead straight.
And no. The bike didn't 'just balance itself' I have to actively work hard even when I'm going down a hill
