Turn on slow cooker, come back after about an hour and the wax is melted, quickly dip in the 3 chains and I'm good for about 500 miles
Waxing saves time in the long run because there's less wear on the chainring & cassette, think how much time (and money) it takes to replace those. And paraffin wax is much cheaper than oil lubricants, a 1kg block lasts forever
