>>1423098>>1423109>>1423058>>1423027>v brakesv brakes were a total gamechanger when they came out in mtb and still provide ridiculous power for a rim brake even if you use low end models, which cant be said about cantis or calipers - good cantis work well but good cantis are expensive and calipers dont word with big tires, unless shityy long reach calipers with bad power.
They are rediculously easy to set up as well, cheap, reliable, not the best modulation doe, but since they come almost standard with bigger tires it can be worked around. Aside from that, only issue I can think about them is their looks, they are not the best looking brakes when mounted on forks or other straight lines.
