Turning circle is huge - I think 11 meters.
The steering is actually interesting. It's steered by its back wheel. Markus came up with a design that avoids the back wheel from oversteering in curves and you don't need put more effort into moving it back. It runs very stable.
There is a stock tarpauling that came with the Velayo (head out, shoulders covered).
