>>1905347I just figured it out. I noticed that the pad springs on the new pads were quite a bit thicker vertically than normal, almost double. Because of this they were causing the pads to ride closer than normal towards the center of the rotor causing it to strike the cutouts at a weird angle when braking. I changed it to the springs I used on the old pads which were a different brand and now it brakes smoothly with a SHHHHHHHHHHH. Pic is the spring which was causing the noise.
